Jason Jackson,  

Chief Investment Officer


Jason is responsible for the execution and oversight of the firm’s investment portfolio and advisory positions. He also acts as the Managing Director of IBS strategic partner, Pillar Capital Advisors, LLC, which focuses on assessing, originating, and structuring potential investment opportunities for IBS.


Jason is an experienced Corporate Banker with experiences spanning almost two decades and a proven ability to capitalize on both new and existing markets for institutions of up to $500MM in annual sales.

Prior to returning to the private sector, Jason functioned as a professional in the United States Navy, Naval Aviation division based in Lemoore, California. During his two West Pacific tours he participated in both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom earning awards such as the National Defense Award, Navy Unit Commendation, Letters of Commendation (2), and the Honor of being designated as a Naval Aviation Warfare Specialist from his peers.










Ausby Hardaway, Jr.




A native New Yorker is the acting Managing Partner of Pillar Capital, LLC charged with managing the organization’s transaction flow. Mr. Hardaway is also the Managing Partner at Tiburon Ventures, LLC a Coral Gables based consulting firm that specializing in emerging market finance and business development. Tiburon excels through using its numerous and varied relationships, which spans a wide array of industries and government contacts, in finding clients the requisite funding through private equity, debt or hybrid solutions for energy efficiency related programs.


Subsequent to completing his undergraduate work at The University of Maryland College Park, Mr. Hardaway took on the position as an administrative assistant to Maryland Congressman Parrin J. Mitchell, Jr the Chairman of the House Small Business Committee and one of the founding members of The Congressional Black Caucus. After two years Mr. Hardaway left to attend Georgetown University Law Center. During his tenure at Georgetown Law he worked as an intern clerk for The Honorable Judge William J. Murphy, who sat on the Circuit Court for Baltimore City and later served as a clerk in Judge Murphy’s prominent Baltimore boutique law practice after Judge Murphy retired from the bench.


After Law School, Mr. Hardaway returned to Capitol Hill to serve as a congressional aide to Congressman Mitchell. His duties included but were not limited to the research, drafting and implementation of key pieces of legislation that impacted the constituents of the Seventh Congressional District of Maryland.

Mr. Hardaway has served as Founder and Managing Partner for HGD Development a Development and Syndication firm that successfully facilitated the funding and building of various residential domestic projects as well as projects in the Caribbean, Brazil, Belize and The Bahamas.His company was involved in the purchase, revitalization and sale of numerous undervalued real estate assets while employing individuals within a number of The Clinton Administrations HUD defined Empowerment Zones.


Mr. Hardaway is also the Founder and Managing Partner for H2 Fuel Sciences, Inc whose mission was to seek out emerging energy saving technologies in the pre-commercial stage to help develop, define and commercialize the technologies in the environmental services market. He headed the effort to establish both national and international distribution networks while leveraging existing global relationships to apply H2’s technologies to existing commercial applications. H2’s primary focus is centered on the emerging applications that employed the integration of on board Hydrogen production, Frequency Modulation through the use of fuel chips and the implementation of advanced outboard Oil Filtration systems for use in the Class 8 trucking industry
