They include executive-level corporate management, real estate development and asset management, consulting, turnaround management, commercial and investment banking, and corporate law. This diversity has been further reinforced by the knowledge achieved through investing together over several business cycles. Simply speaking, we are a team of entrepreneurs serving entrepreneurs.
Jason Jackson
Chairman of the Board & Chief Investment Officer
Jason is responsible for the execution and oversight of the firm's investment portfolio and advisory positions. He also acts as the Managing Director of IBS's strategic partner, Pillar Capital Advisors, LLC, which focuses on assessing, originating, and structuring potential investment opportunities for IBS.
Jason is an experienced investment banker with experiences spanning over two decades and a proven ability to capitalize on new and existing markets for institutions of up to $500MM in annual sales.
Prior to returning to the private sector, Jason functioned as a professional in the United States Navy, Naval Aviation division based in Lemoore, California. During his two West Pacific tours, he participated in both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, earning awards such as the National Defense Award, Navy Unit Commendation, Letters of Commendation (2), and the Honor of being designated as a Naval Aviation Warfare Specialist from his peers.
Ilene Tognini, ESQ
General Councel
As a third-generation commercial equestrian operator, Ms. Tognini has accumulated over 30 years of practical experience with the legal aspects of horse operations. She specializes in complex business transactions, corporate restructuring, and real estate development. Her professional pedigree includes heading the financial accounting compliance legal team at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
She has served many international client projects in Switzerland, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, UK, Argentina, Guatemala, South Korea, Laos, Thailand, and India. She also served as the Eastern Circuit Lieutenant Governor of the United States Polo Association; a Board member of George Mason University College of Visual and Performing Arts; the Cherry Blossom Breast Cancer Foundation; and the Virginia Land Trust.
She earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the New York Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
